Finding your way around

The menu on the left has the same order on every page:

  • Search (Ctrl+K, on a Mac ⌘K) at the top jumps to any page or action.
  • Start onboarding (Onboarding starten) is the button below the search.
  • Overview (Übersicht) is the dashboard.
  • People (Personen): Users (Benutzer), Guests (Gäste), Shared mailboxes (Freigegebene Postfächer).
  • Access (Zugriff): Groups (Gruppen), Licenses, Applications, Role templates, Partner access.
  • Organisation: Org chart and Companies.
  • Administration (Verwaltung), always last and only for admins: Activity log (Protokoll), Accounts and roles (Konten und Rollen), Settings (Einstellungen).

Pages that belong together share one menu item and show tabs at the top: Groups has the tabs Security, Distribution, Microsoft 365 and Teams, and the Activity log has the tabs Actions and Jobs. Import / Export is in the ⋯ menu on the Users page.

Your Profile (language, theme, sign-in security) and My equipment (Meine Geräte) are in the menu behind your initials at the top right. The AI assistant (KI-Assistent, add-on) has its own button in the top bar.

With the HR add-on, a switch above the menu changes between Identity and HR; see HR Module.
